I can’t even begin to count the number of times an end-user has called me asking what their home wireless (Wi-Fi) password is. I can’t grasp how an end-user can think that I would know the password to their private home network.  And yet, just today, I get an end-user calling, asking, “What’s my home wireless password?  I can’t get it to connect.”

End-user, where, in the grand scheme of things, did you ever get the knuckleheaded notion that I had anything to do with the setup and configuration of your home network?!  It’s not rocket surgery, people.  If you didn’t setup your home network, and we both know I certainly didn’t do it, why don’t you call the “genius” who did set it up and ask them what they made your passphrase?
