The temporary siege laid to the Capitol last week had me pondering exactly what happened.  Mind you, not contemplating what the liberal MSM claimed happened, but what actually happened.

As you may, or may not, recall, last Wednesday President Trump held a rally in D.C. where he repeated the assertion that there was massive fraud in the 2020 election.  I say “assertion” only because the liberal MSM has repeatedly stated there’s no proof of fraud despite the hundreds of sworn affidavits of people who were either a witness to that election fraud and voter skulduggery and or they actually played a role in said fraud/skulduggery.  Regardless, no matter whether you believe there was fraud or not, it doesn’t change the fact that there was most assuredly fraud, which is something I’ll address in a future post.  In the end, no matter how you slice it, that’s the beautiful thing about facts, they don’t care what you believe.

So exactly what happened at the Capitol?  In a nutshell, Trump told his attending supporters that they should all march to the Capitol and voice their concerns to the politicians who were elected by the people.  Let them know that the citizens, whom they’re supposed to serve, aren’t satisfied with the lackluster job the Senate and House are doing, specifically (mainly), the Democrats and the RINOs.  Now some might say, “Well, that’s where Trump screwed up!  He was calling for his supporters to storm the Capitol.”  No, he wasn’t.  In fact, what Trump was doing was telling his supporters that they didn’t have to accept the decision of the Senate to put illegitimately elected president Biden in power.  And, you see, the people have every right to do just that as guaranteed them by the First Amendment of our Constitution which clearly states, “People have the right to appeal to government in favor of or against policies that affect them or in which they feel strongly.”  Consequently, that’s exactly what Trump’s supporters were doing when they marched on the Capitol.

So where did it all go wrong?  Well, to put it bluntly, things started going to hell in a handbasket when the attending Antifa anarchists began inciting violence and mayhem.  “Antifa?!  Marching with Trumpers?!  Wait a tick!  I thought Antifa was against Trump?”  Yes, they are.  But they were in attendance that day, masquerading as Trump supporters, for the sole purpose of sowing the seeds of discontent to cause violence and mayhem.  And it worked!  In fact, in the below video, you can see angry Trump supporters outside the Capitol building, demanding to be heard – again, exercising that right as guaranteed by the Constitution.  However, you can also hear a woman in the crowd screaming, “Antifa’s breaking the window!  Antifa’s breaking the window!”  At the same time, we can see a man rush up and confront another man who’s trying to break the glass in one of the Capitol building’s windows.

Contrary to previous “riots” this past summer, where Antifa anarchists and liberal terrorists looted, burned, and destroyed the cities in which they were protesting, these Trump “rioters” were actually, legitimately and legally protesting.  They weren’t looting, they weren’t burning, and they definitely weren’t destroying.  That being said, if any marching Trump supporters saw another person in the crowd doing something illegal, one or more members of the crowd did what they could to put a stop to it.  That’s one of the biggest differences between liberals and conservatives:  liberals seek to destroy that with which they disagree, whilst conservatives seek to change that with which they disagree through words and redress as guaranteed them by the Constitution.

Unfortunately, that’s also why conservatives rarely succeed: because we (usually) play by the rules.  But isn’t it funny that when the liberals riot, loot, burn and destroy cities, the liberal MSM actually sides with the anarchists and terrorists who are wreaking havoc and breaking the law?  Conversely, the one time there’s a single protest that gets out of hand due to Antifa masquerading as Trumpers, and it involves Trump supporters, the liberal MSM can’t react quickly enough in scrambling to place blame by demanding justice be carried out against a handful of people who are, in fact, infiltrators and agitators whose sole purpose is to cause discord and destruction.  And yet it’s interesting how CNN’s Chris Cuomo recently stated, “Show me where it says protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful,” when addressing Antifa anarchists and BLM terrorists destroying cities across America.

Now, am I saying there are no bad apples in the conservative barrel?  Hell no!  As with anything, there are always going to be one or two bad apples in the bunch;  however, with liberals/democrats, we see the polar opposite – there are usually one or two good apples in their shiploads of barrels of bad.  And the funny thing is, those very few “good apples” are seen as the bad ones by the liberals/democrats because they don’t subscribe to the destruction and devastation the liberals and democrats crave.  They don’t embrace the cancel culture liberals preach – the cancel culture embodying the myopic mindset that’s destroyed so many good businesses, lives, and livelihoods all in the name of ousting the best president we’ve had since Eisenhower.  With Democrats, if they don’t like a radio station, they’ll march, riot, and burn that radio station to the ground.  Conservatives, conversely, will simply change the channel because they know even if they don’t like the broadcast, someone out there does, and that person or people has every right to enjoy it.
